Body and Display

Comparison: Galaxy S6 VS. S7

Samsung Galaxy S6 has introduced the dual-curved display to the smartphone world. This design was a stride. And Samsung Galaxy S7 is remarkably similar to S6. However, it comes with the display made from another glass and aluminum body. And the S7's rear panel curves in a similar way to the Note 5. The ergonomic design makes it less slippery and more natural to fit into the palm of the hand.

Besides, S7 comes in white pearl, black sapphire, gold platinum, and blue topaz version while S6 has black, white, gold, and silver version. Although both phones pack with 5.1 inch display, S7 is thicker than S6. And the S7 is waterproof, which can protect your Android phone survive quick dropping in a pool.

Galaxy S7 vs. S6 Camera

S6 users should know that this phone has a splendid camera. You can shot fantastic moments anywhere, every time with the 16 MP rear-facing camera and 5MP front-facing, wide-angle camera. When it comes to Samsung Galaxy S7, it is equipped with an enhanced camera. Samsung Galaxy S7 is the first smartphone with dual-pixel technology which has a fast autofocus for less blur as well as a new advanced sensor. So the camera is easy to catch details in low light.

Galaxy S7 vs. S6 Battery

Samsung sports smaller battery than its predecessors does. This wasn't a popular move. This year, Samsung pack S7 with a 3,000 mAh battery, which is bigger than that of the last generation. Besides, S7 supports fast wireless charging so it powers up to 100% in no time.

Galaxy S7 vs. S6 Performance

Samsung Galaxy S7 comes with A Snapdragon 820 processor and a 4 GB RAM while Galaxy S6 houses an Exynos 7420 processor and a 3GB RAM. There is no doubt that S7 is faster than S6 with the stronger processor and RAM.

Price and Conclusion

To sum up, S7 is one of the "in between" handset, which is not radically different from S6. But it makes key improvements, for example, the return of microSD card slot, improvements in design, and a larger battery. When it comes to the price, S7 is available at US$790, which is more expensive than S6. Is S7 worthy of the price? If you are a S5 user, S7 is a great device to update. If you are using a S6, it depends!
