Q:

The program keeps asking to enable USB debugging and fails to connect my phone to the program. What can I do?

As for your case, please do as following steps to fix it:
1. Please make sure you download the latest version of the program, which can be downloaded from
https://www.android-recovery.net/android-data-recovery.html
2. Please keep your device powered on and USB debugging enabled
3. Connect your device to computer via USB cable, then drag down the dropdown menu and choose "MTP" mode
For LG devices, they can be recommended to connect under Camera (PTP) / Send images (PTP) mode ONLY.
4. Make sure the right driver installed in your computer. Here is a link to find the right driver of your device:
https://developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb.html
5. If your device has been inserted with SD card, you can scan the card only with card reader to scan the lost media files.
Q:

I was trying to recover my deleted data but the program always stops at the scanning progress.

It is supposed that the Android Data Recovery was failed to analyze the device, may we suggest to try with attached tool to root and analyze your device?
Click here to download KingRoot or Kingo Root, both of them are effective root programs:
https://www.android-recovery.net/root-android-phone-using-kingroot.html
https://www.android-recovery.net/root-android-device-with-kingo-root.html
(If the device is not supported, you can find more rooting solution on the site: http://forum.xda-developers.com/)
After downloading it, please install the program on your computer to analyze the phone.
Q:

What is rooting? How to root?

To root means gaining root access to your device. When you take your phone out of the box, while there are plenty of settings you can tweak, you can only alter what the manufacturer allows you to. By gaining root access you can modify the device's software on the very deepest level.

The improper way to root will make your phone to be a brick. For the safe and effective way to root mobile phone, I suggest you to try this Root software:
https://www.android-recovery.net/root-android-phone-using-kingroot.html
If you fail in the rooting, it is advised to find more rooting solution on the site:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/
Q:

What should I do if my device doesn't start (or gets bricked) after using Android Data Recovery?

If your phone doesn't start normally after rooting, you can use the "Fix My Bricked Phone" option to bring it back. The solution that will fix that problem is illustrated in:
https://www.android-recovery.net/solve-problem-of-android-get-bricked.html
Q:

I can't find the "Allow” Request on my phone, how should I do?

If your device fails to receive super user request, please download an access management app to your device.
Super User:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.superuser
Super SU:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu

After installing super user app on Android device, it will manage privilege of your Android.
Q:

Does Android Data Recovery work with any Android phone? Can it recover any data in Android?

Whether it will succeed or not depends on what kinds of phone or types the application is applied to. You can download the free trial version of the program to scan your phone for those lost data, if you can preview lost files via the trial version, the registered program will help you recover them.
Q:

Why I can only read existing data, except for the deleted ones from the scanning result?

The data may be overwritten, for the phone log is so limited that many data are easily overwritten by your any possible use of your device, such as a call, add some new data, click some application, etc. All these behavior may cause records in Phone log and will overwrite your former info.

In future, I would suggest you regularly backup Android data and once your info is lost, please immediately use recovery tools to recover the data, for any delay will cause data overwriting and data losing forever.
Q:

Is the free trial just for half the program? What is different between the trail version and the full version?

Actually, the trial version can scan all the data that can be recovered.
The functional difference between the trial version and the registered version is that the trial version can only scan the device and preview the lost data while the registered version works for recovering and saving the scanned data to your computer.
Q:

I recently purchased your software and assumed I would receive an email with code but haven't yet, how come?

Generally you will receive the registration code via e-mail within one hour after order is successful. And you can also check your trash to look for it.
